The
ASTM is a professional organization whose primary mission is to
develop voluntary full consensus standards for materials, products,
systems and services. Many of these standards are used in a variety
of industries that are concerned with contamination control. MicroStat
Laboratories tests products such as cleanroom and medical exam
gloves in accordance with pertinent ASTM standards.

The
IEST is an organization through which professionals in the field
of contamination control can communicate ideas and create written
technical standards. These standards address topics such as testing
of cleanroom garment systems and certification of cleanrooms.
Standards are available for purchase through the IEST. Members
of the MicroStat Laboratories staff are proud to be associated with
IEST and to have served on many of the standards writing committees.

ESD
Association standards and publications are designed to serve the
public interest by eliminating misunderstandings between manufacturers
and purchasers, facilitating the interchangeability and improvement
of products and assisting the purchaser in selecting and obtaining
the proper products for their particular needs. MicroStat Laboratories
tests ESD control products such as frocks, wrist straps and chairs
in accordance with ESD Association standard.
